BOSTON (CBS) – On Friday, we all have the chance to see some wonderful artwork, and the men and women behind these pieces are wounded veterans.

The Department of Veterans Affairs is using creative arts as a form of rehabilitation.

The results are some truly wonderful work.

These are folks who have to deal with a variety of wounds and injuries.

It’s hard enough to get past the pain, and yet look what they have come up with.

If you want to see the work for yourself, the exhibit runs from 10 a.m. to noon, in the Hall of Flags at the State House as part of the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival.
