Mike Gorman On Toucher & Rich: 'Rajon's Going To Have A Huge Year'

The Celtics are back from their European trip and are getting ready for their first preseason game on Saturday against the New York Knicks at the Garden.

Play-by-play announcer Mike Gorman joined 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich to discuss how the team look in their games overseas and a confident Rajon Rondo.

This offseason it became clear that Rondo was more confident as he is now one of the veterans on this team. No longer is Rondo the young kid. Has this heightened level of confidence translated over to his play on the court?

"It's tough to say whether it translates to his play off the two games, although he certainly dominated that first quarter against Armani. I think Rajon's going to have a huge year, I think he's going to establish himself as the best point guard in the league."

Gorman went on to say that it seems that the consensus from Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett is that this is Rondo's team.

They went on to discuss the speed this team has and how this speed help Rondo play the fast break type of basketball he likes to play.
