Felger and Massarotti opened the day talking about last nights Baltimore Orioles-New York Yankees divisional series game. The Yankees won Game 3 3-2 on the back of Raul Ibanez. Ibanez pinch hit for Alex Rodriguez and hit a game-tying home run in the 9th inning and a walk-off home run in the 12th inning.
After Felger tried to preview the start of the NHL season, the guys got into Alex Rodriguez. Is A-Rod’s happiness for Ibanez and winning last night fake?
How bold of a move was it by Yankees manager Joe Girardi to hit Ibanez for Rodriguez? Besides the 2009 playoffs, why does A-Rod continue to struggle in playoff performances? Could A-Rod be content in being replaced by Ibanez?
