BOSTON (CBS) – Next Thursday, WBZ-TV’s Lisa Hughes will be flying west to be a guest host on the CBS show The Talk.

Julie Chen and Lisa discussed what will be featured on the show on the 18th.

“The first 20 minutes it’s going to be girls gossiping,” Chen tells Hughes. “We call it The Talk, it should be called The Gossip.”

Chen says they will dissect, “whoever happens to find their way into the headlines that particular morning.” She tells Lisa to be fair, opinionated but, “brutally honest” just like she was last time she guest hosted in 2011.

Anne Heche will be a guest on the show that day. “She’s a friend of The Talk,” says Chen. “She’s here to promote a new movie and she has a great sense of humor.”

The Talk airs weekdays at 2pm ET.
