LEXINGTON (CBS) – Farm stands around the region are blooming with pumpkins of all colors and sizes.
Scott Wilson of Wilson Farm in Lexington says they have pumpkins from one pound to 500 pounds.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Karen Twomey reports
Wilson says they have come a long way from just throwing some pumpkin seeds in the ground.
Today, they make sure pumpkins are resting on the grass instead of growing in the dirt.
Wilson says this makes pumpkins without flat sides or covered in dirt.
