Felger and Massarotti opened the day discussing post-game comments made by Wes Welker and the New England Patriots offensive plan in their 31-21 victory over the Denver Broncos.
During a post-game interview yesterday, Welker said “It’s kind of nice to stick it in Bill’s [Belichick] face every once in a while,” talking about his 13 catches, 104 yards, and touchdown against the Broncos.
Welker delivered the comment with a smile. Does this show that Welker and Belichick are over whatever there may have been between the two of them earlier this year?
After running for over 200 yards for the second straight week, has this Patriots offense turned in a running offense?
