ROCHESTER, NH (CBS) – Rochester, New Hampshire police are asking for help identifying a pedestrian who was struck by a car Friday evening.

Police say the victim, a white man in his forties or fifties, was walking on Milton Road near the on-ramp of the Route 16 connector at about 7:40 p.m., when he was hit by a 2001 Volkswagen Passat.

That man suffered serious injuries and was flown to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.

Police have not been able to identify him at this point. They say he was wearing blue jeans and a dark zip up jacket.

The driver, 48-year-old Darlene Moore, was not hurt. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
