CAMPTON, NH (CBS) – Police in Campton, New Hampshire are on the lookout for someone posing as an officer, and pulling people over.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Mark Katic reports
Campton Police say Tuesday night a female driver was driving on Route 175 when she looked in her rear view mirror and saw a black SUV with flashing blue lights signaling her to pull over.
The woman stopped, and a man got out of the SUV wearing a dark rain coat, civilian clothes and a baseball cap and demanded to see her license and registration. He didn’t have any identification and when she questioned him and began dialing her cellphone, the man took off.
The SUV was last seen heading toward Thornton. Police say they have very little information to go on.
