MILFORD (CBS) – A 14-year-old was hit by a car and seriously injured while riding his bike in Milford.

The teen was struck while crossing Spruce Street around 6:45 Monday night.

He was taken by ambulance to Milford Regional Medical Center and then transferred to UMass Medical Center by MedFlight helicopter. Police say the teen had is being treated for a head injury.

The driver, a 78-year-old Hopedale woman, was cooperating with police at the scene. No charges have been filed.
