Glendale, A.Z. (CBS) – Justin Bieber paid tribute to his “wife” Avalanna Routh at a Saturday night concert in Glendale, Arizona.
Bieber sang his song “One Less Lonely Girl” as a video montage of Avalanna, the Routh family and photos from Avalanna’s February date with Bieber flashed on a video screen above the stage.
Bieber usually pulls a girl from the crowd to serenade but on Saturday night, Bieber said he was singing the song to Avalanna. Bieber reached out to her image on the screen as Avalanna gave a peace sign in the video footage.
The 6-year-old Merrimac girl died Wednesday of brain cancer.
After the show, Bieber tweeted.
Goodnight Avalanna. Tonight was for u. I love u—

Last winter, Bieber heard the story of how doctors and nurses at Dana-Farber set up a wedding for Avalanna at a Jimmy Fund event. There were flowers, a guitarist, and even a life-sized Bieber poster at the ceremony.
Bieber then flew Avalanna and her family to New York to arrange their Valentine’s Day date.
