Survivor Of Mattapan Massacre Admits Holding Information From Police

BOSTON (CBS) - The only survivor from the 2010 massacre in Mattapan admitted that he withheld information from police.

Over a video conference, Marcus Hurd testified in court that he didn't tell officers everything he knew about the shootings that killed four people, including a toddler and left him in a wheelchair.

He said he was just following the code of the street.

"Did I give them all of the information that I knew? No," said Hurd. "I didn't. Why? Because I was raised wrong. I was raised like a savage. Where I come from it's totally different."

The first trial in the case, against Dwayne Moore and Edward Washington, ended in a mistrial.
