NH Suspends License Of Doctor Charged In Child Porn Case

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire Board of Medicine has suspended the license of the former medical director of an exclusive Massachusetts prep school following his arrest on a child pornography charge.

The board's action last week was in response to physician Richard Keller's arrest on Sept. 13, during which authorities seized hundreds of photos and several dozen DVDs of child pornography from his home in Andover, Mass.

Keller, who used to work for Phillips Academy, voluntarily surrendered his Massachusetts medical license while that state's medical board does its own investigation.

He most recently worked at Children's Hospital in Boston.

Keller was issued a license to practice in New Hampshire in 2002, although he has not been practicing in the state.

New Hampshire's board hearing on the suspension is scheduled for Oct. 3.
