BOSTON (CBS) – Boston Bruins Training Camp would have opened Friday, but the lockout has canceled the preseason, and has the regular season on hold.
“It’s not good for everybody, the Bruins and the entire NHL. It’s hard to imagine the league’s going down this road again,” said Bruins play-by-play man Dave Goucher.
Goucher also talked about the Bruins chances if there is a season.
“This is a team that has a good young core that most people, including myself, feel has a chance to be a Stanley Cup contender again this year,” he said.
On the delay to the season, Goucher adds, it’s tough because, “It’s something that just becomes a part of your life every year.”
