BOSTON (CBS) – Police have arrested a man accused of poisoning dogs in Charlestown.
Police say 53-year-old Kenneth Hyland of Everett is in custody.
Neighbors say poisoned hot dogs were planted on the lawn in front of the Brick Layers and Allied Craftsmen Union on Medford Street to keep dogs off the property.
Dog owners say they saw a man believed to be a landscaper who was soaking the hot dogs in a liquid believed to be anti-freeze. They confronted the man, who allegedly admitted it.
Hyland will face a judge on Monday.
