Patriots Inactives: Connolly In, Vereen, 6 Others Out vs. Cardinals
BOSTON (CBS) - Seven players are inactive for the New England Patriots for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, including running back Shane Vereen.
Guard Dan Connolly was listed as "questionable" on Friday's practice report but will play as the Patriots open the home portion of their season.

Joining Vereen on the inactive list are WR Greg Sales, CB Alfonzo Dennard, TE Daniel Fells, and defensive linemen Jake Bequette, Justin Francis and Marcus Forston.
The Cardinals also have seven players inactive for Sunday's game, highlighted by quarterback John Skelton. Kevin Kolb will start under center for Arizona.

Corner Patrick Peterson, listed as "questionable" on Friday, is active for Arizona.
