BOSTON (CBS) – At The WBZ Water Cooler: Northeastern University Athletic Director Peter Roby says former Northeastern Huskies coach and now former UConn Huskies coach, Jim Calhoun, ‘was always appreciative of Northeastern for giving him his start in college coaching.’
He says Calhoun was a tremendous competitor, and he transferred that to his players. Robi adds, that knowing the competitor Calhoun is, ‘This is very difficult for him.’
