Neat Freak Tom Brady Was A Great Pancake Chef In College, Says Jay Feely

BOSTON (CBS) -- Tom Brady is pretty good at throwing touchdowns, but that skill doesn't compare to his abilities as a pancake chef, according to his college roommate.

Arizona Cardinals kicker Jay Feely was a teammate of Brady at Michigan in 1997 and '98, and the two became close friends. Feely says Brady was even in his wedding.

While Feely said that Brady was a great teammate, the football field was not the only place where he shined.

"There was a summer we lived together and now-Congressman Jon Runyan, we subletted his house," Feely told AZFamily.com. "And there was always a fight about who was going to do dishes. Tommy was always good at making pancakes. We'd make him get up and make us all breakfast."

In addition to making a tasty pancake, Brady also helped Feely keep his college house from getting too messy.

"He's definitely neat," Feely told WNXV-TV in Arizona. "We were the neat ones. The other four [roommates] had a typical college room. We were not happy about that."

With Brady now married to world-famous supermodel Gisele Bundchen, Feely was asked if he's surprised to see Brady to go on to live the life of a mega-celebrity.

"The only inkling I had was he was good with women from his college days. So it doesn't surprise me, his success in that department," Feely said.

"He was always good with the ladies," he told AZFamily.com.

Despite all the success though, Feely said it hasn't gone to Brady's head.

"He's a great guy," Feely said. "One of the nicest, kindest guys you've ever met. Even to this day, he's the kind of guy that would tell you, 'I love you.'"
