BOSTON (CBS) – The MBTA said a shirtless man caused “significant delays” on the Red Line during rush hour Thursday morning when he jumped down onto the tracks.
No trains were coming when the unidentified man decided to walk on the northbound tracks between the Andrew and Broadway stations just before 7 a.m.
“He left before he could be detained,” MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo told WBZ-TV.
The T posted surveillance video of the incident on YouTube.
You can see the man jump onto the tracks about 40 seconds into the clip. He then trots down the tracks and disappears past the camera.
