Carl Stevens' Journal: Rocky Marciano Statue Arrives In Brockton
BROCKTON (CBS) - A tractor trailer, with police escort, pulled up to Rocky Marciano stadium Thursday on the campus of Brockton High School. Inside, in huge crates, was the statue of Rocky Marciano himself.
The statue's a gift from the World Boxing Council.

It was made in Mexico. A team of sculptors will arrive in Brockton early next week to assemble the 20-foot tall statue.
It will be unveiled a week from Sunday.
