NH Soldier Dies At Virginia Military Base
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire military officials say an Army officer from Milford has died at a Virginia military base.
Army Spc. Jared Davison died Sept. 4 at Fort Eustis in Virginia. Officials said Tuesday that the cause of his death is still under investigation.
Davison was serving as a watercraft engineer. The 24-year-old was a 2006 graduate of Milford High School. He attended Norwich Academy in Vermont and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
His parents — Paula and James Davison of Milford — said he was working toward a promotion to sergeant at the time of his death.
Davison was serving with the 558th Transportation Company, Special Troops Battalion, 7th Sustainment Brigade.
