Gresh & Zo were on the air when news broke of Tyler Seguin signing a six-year contract extension with the Boston Bruins that will keep him in Black and Gold through the 2018-19 season.

The deal is for $34.5 million total, which both Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak agreed to be a fair number.

“I do think that this is also a sign from the Bruins acknowledgment that Tyler Seguin has grown up enough that they can trust him with money,” Gresh said. “Now you’re talking millions of dollars.”
