He's robbed six banks in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island since February.

"Five of the robberies occurred in Rhode Island and his first was in Massachusetts. The robberies occur approximately 30 days apart, usually between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. During each robbery he claims to have a gun, but does not show it," Massachusetts State Police spokesman David Procopio said in a statement Monday.

He's white, about five-feet, ten inches tall, in his 30's or 40's. He may also have a tattoo of flames on his left shoulder.

"The suspect speaks on a cell phone during the robbery, and he may change his clothes after fleeing the bank on foot. He often wears a brown hooded sweatshirt, a blue knit cap, and warm-up pants, but he has also worn a light green baseball cap and a hooded shirt with flames on the front and on the sleeves," Procopio said.

Anyone with information about him or the robberies should call police at (978) 451-3700.
