The Norwegian Dawn is set to depart on a Bermuda cruise Friday.
BOSTON (CBS) – This weekend could prove to be a rough ride for passengers on the Norwegian Dawn cruise ship.
The ship is scheduled to leave South Boston Friday afternoon and head to Bermuda.
Tropical Storm Leslie is expected to pass east of Bermuda today, but the storm will kick up the seas and cause some large swells.
According to the National Weather Service, seas are expected to reach 15 feet, and some waves could grow as large as 30 feet.
That could force the ship to alter its itinerary.
