Two Dead In Crash On Mass. Turnpike

LUDLOW (CBS) – Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash on the Mass. Turnpike Friday night.

The crash happened around 8:30pm in Ludlow.

State Police say an 84-year-old man was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes when he crashed head-on with another car being operated by a 29-year-old man.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital and later died. Their identities have not been released.

The accident involved four cars and closed parts of the Pike for several hours.
