DOVER, NH (CBS) – Police in Dover, New Hampshire are increasing patrols after two instances in two days where a man exposed himself to students.
Police say in both cases, the man offered the victims a ride.
“When the children refused, he was close enough to them where they could see he was not wearing his pants,” Dover Police Lt. Brant Dolleman said.
The first case involved an elementary school girl who was waiting for her school bus on Bellamy Road around 8 a.m. Wednesday. The second incident involved a middle school student who was walking home after school on Thursday.
“No one has been hurt or touched in these incidents, but we want people to be in tuned with their surroundings,” Lt Dolleman said.
The school dept. sent letters home to parents addressing the issue and reminding parents to speak to their kids about strangers.
Police say right now they are not certain if they are looking for one or two suspects. The car has been described as a black, silver or tan four-door vehicle.
