Motorcyclist Arrested After High Speed Chase On Mass Pike

NATICK (CBS) - A 22-year-old man is facing charges following a high speed chase and a sprint through several neighborhoods.

Troopers radar picked up Scott Hansen of Georgetown driving his motorcycle close to 100 mph heading eastbound on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Hopkinton.

Troopers went after Hansen, but they say he refused to pull over.

The motorcycle pulled over into the breakdown lane after several miles, and the driver took off into the woods.

Wayland, Weston and Natick police all responded the help with the foot chase.

Hansen was finally caught by State and Natick Police on Frost Road and Winter Street in Natick.

According to State Police, after his arrest, Hansen told Troopers he wasn't sure as to why he didn't stop for police.

He was charged with speeding and failure to stop for police.
