NORWOOD (CBS) – A person was struck and killed by a commuter rail train in Norwood Thursday morning.

It happened between the Islington and Norwood Depot stations at approximately 9:50 a.m, and involved an outbound Franklin Line train.
The MBTA would only identify the person as a “railroad trespasser” and described him as a middle aged man.
Transit police said that there will be delays while a bus shuttle is put in place on the Franklin line.
