Four Hurt, One Arrested In Lowell Shooting

LOWELL (CBS) - One man has been arrested for a multiple shooting overnight in Lowell.

It happened at the Tedeschi's parking lot on Bridge Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Two groups of people had a confrontation and two people ended up in a fight.

That's when investigators say Chanphakdae Thang of Lowell pulled out a gun and started firing.

Three people were shot and a fourth person was beaten.

One of the shooting victims was rushed to a Boston hospital on a MedFlight rescue helicopter.  His condition is stable.

The others were treated at a hospital and released Thursday morning.

Thang was arrested and charged with three counts of armed assault with intent to murder. Another man involved was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

Thang will be arraigned Thursday in at Lowell District Court.
