BOSTON (CBS) – The Farmers’ Almanac is predicting that Old Man Winter is waking up this year and will return with a lot of snow.
Pete Geiger is the editor of the Farmers’ Almanac which has been published since 1818 out of Lewiston, Maine.
WBZ NewsRadio 1030′s Rod Fritz reports
“We’re talking about some snow from December 1st to the 3rd, a fairly good storm in the middle of the month, snow three days before Christmas, and maybe snow on Christmas,” he said.
He also says plenty of storms are on the agenda and that this winter will hit New England the hardest.
“More treacherous certainly, quite a few storms as a matter of fact,” he said. “It looks like New England and the Great Lakes is where you’re going to get all of the fun.”
