With the Fantasy Football show kicking off over the weekend, SI.com’s Will Carroll joined Mike Lockhart and Jim Murray for all the pre-draft injury concerns in the NFL.

How will Jamal Charles and Adrian Peterson bounce back from their ACL injuries? What do most players lack when coming back from such injuries?

Quarterbacks Michael Vick and Matt Stafford suffered injuries this last week. Should fantasy owners be worried heading into the season?

“You do have to worry a little bit about them,” said Carroll.

“Stafford hit his hand; his non-throwing hand,” said Carroll. “X-Rays were negative, and the only problem he has is taking snaps — which won’t be an issue long-term.”

“Michael Vick is almost funny at this stage. He gets his ribs injured because he forgot his rib protector. The Eagles actually didn’t order the rib protector he prefers, so instead, he was wearing nothing,” joked Carroll. “This is a guy that is just injury prone all together, but has had a history of rib injuries.”

“Vick is injury prone. You have to take any projection you have with him, and take it down to 12, 14 if you’re optimistic. He is going to miss time.”
