Newton Ranked #1 For Rich Singles
BOSTON (CBS) - Who knew all the rich and single people were so close by? Turns out Newton is ranked the hottest spot in the country for the wealthy and unattached. That is, according to Money Magazine.
Residents say, "where are they?"
"It's a place of families and settled people," says Peggy Burchenal. "I don't get it, but if they say so."
"I wish I was single again," says real estate agent Mary Ann Figoni. "I'm going to spread the word."
The median family income in Newton is $145,639, with a little more than 30 percent of the population being single.
Number two on the list is Hoboken, New Jersey.
