BOSTON (CBS) –Travelers out of Logan Airport will have a new tool to help them book the best deal.
Massachusetts’ Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation has released a survey on airline fees that details what each airline actually charges.
The survey, conducted from April through July, looks at all the airlines that operate out of Logan.
Fees cover a range of options: from booking tickets over the phone to seat requests, flight cancellations or switches, and baggage fees.

“We’re not advising consumers to fly any specific airline on their next trip, but rather to shop around for the best deal and to pay attention to the fine print,” said Barbara Anthony, Undersecretary of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. “Travelers should closely examine airlines’ policies that may affect how much you will pay. You may decide that you don’t mind paying for an extra piece of luggage, but you should make an informed decision.”
