Investigators Ask For Help In Search For Missing Quincy Woman

QUINCY (CBS) – Investigators are asking the public for help in their search for a young woman who's now been missing for more than a year.

Evelin Valibayova was 23 years old when she was last seen at her North Quincy apartment on July 17, 2011.

Police believe she was a victim of foul play, based on the evidence they've collected.

At the time she was last seen, Valibayova had just put down a deposit on another apartment and was planning to move in September.

Since her disappearance, she hasn't contacted her family, accessed her bank accounts, or used any social media sites.

Billboards are now up in Quincy and the Boston area appealing for information.

"The billboard basically has a recent, last type picture of Evelin. We're asking people if they knew her and we have not yet contacted them to contact us," Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Wednesday.

"We're looking for a young gentleman, an African-American male who is pictured using her Charlie Card."

Investigators don't think those two murdered the young woman, but police would like to identify them, and talk to them.

An anonymous tip line has also been set up at 617-593-8840.
