CHELMSFORD (CBS) – Police say bones found at a home in Chelmsford do not belong to a human.
Last week, someone found bones at the home that once belonged to the family of Judith Ann Chartier, who went missing in 1982.
The discovery gave some hope that the mystery could be solved. Police now say the bones are from an animal.
Chartier, who was 17-years-old at the time, vanished after she went to a party in Billerica.
