BOSTON (CBS) – Walpole Police Chief Richard Stillman has weighed in on the medical marijuana issue, stating that he fears legalization would undo his department’s efforts to crack down on youth drug use. Chief Stillman says, “there is no such thing as medical marijuana.” But the legalization of medical marijuana will be a ballot question for Massachusetts voters in November. Walpole Deputy Chief John Carmichael joins NightSide to talk about the department’s concerns. What do you think? Are you in favor of legalizing medical marijuana for patients who are suffering? Or do you believe it is just a veiled attempt to legalize the drug for everyone?
