CBS baseball insider John Heyman called in to Gresh & Zo to talk about the state of the Boston Red Sox right now. The team is now sitting back at .500 with only 52 games left in the regular season, but Heyman says that they can still make the post season.
They discussed Bobby Valentine’s future with the club, the training staff’s ‘rest days’ and the ownership situation in comparison to others.
All that plus some post-trade deadline rumors and possible moves, including how close the Sox were to moving Adrian Gonzalez.
