Brian Carroll allegedly threatened to kill a tow truck driver in Quincy.
QUINCY (CBS) – A Quincy man is facing several charges after police say he pulled a gun on a tow truck driver Sunday night.
The driver didn’t notice the residential sticker on the car belonging to Brian Carroll when he towed the vehicle from the Lincoln Heights apartment complex.
Authorities say Carroll called Biondi’s Towing after learning his car was gone and pulled the gun as the vehicle was being returned.
“As a result of all this, Mr. Carroll has been arrested and charged with assault by means of a dangerous weapon, to wit a firearm, and threats to commit a crime, to wit to kill,” Quincy Police Captain John Dougan told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 Monday.
Dougan said Carroll pointed the gun at the tow truck driver’s head and told him to “drop the car or lose your life.”
The 42-year-old appeared in court Monday and was released on $1,000 bail.
