BOSTON (CBS) – The huge increase in shark sightings has beaches on the Cape Cod National Seashore asking for help in identifying the predators.
All six ocean beaches will soon have a picture book to help beach-goers pick sharks out of a lineup.
The manuals will be stored at lifeguard stands.
There will also be a questionnaire asking eyewitnesses about fin type, color and how far off shore they spotted the shark.
Last week, a man was attacked by a Great White Shark off of a Truro beach.
