Army Training Exercises Cause Some Confusion In Plainville
PLAINVILLE (CBS) - Some Plainville residents received a bit of a scare Wednesday night as the US Army performed planned training exercises at a former school in town.
The town was supposed to send out reverse 911 calls to anyone who lives in the vicinity of the school. But some people say they never got those calls.

The sounds of helicopters and explosions caused some concern and confusion.
"Felt like we were going to war or something," one resident said. "A lot of people probably thought World War III was occurring."
Additional Army training exercises were taking place across Massachusetts during the day on Friday.
