98 Mile II Round 1: Mazz vs. Bertrand

BOSTON (CBS) -  It's that time of the year again, when 98.5 The Sports Hub supremacy can be determined in only one way: a rap battle.

Day one of 98 Mile II had Scott Zolak and Jon Wallach stepping into the rap battle ring and with 78% of the votes Wallach came out on top! Relive their battle here.

In the second battle of round one, newcomer Gary Tanguay racked up 66% of the votes to knock off Andy Gresh to move on to round two. (listen here)

The third battle put Fred Toucher up against Adolfo Gonzalez. Just as everyone had feared, Adolfo's rap was just not good. So Rich took Adolfo's rap, threw it out, and had a few special guests help him out. But even with all the extra help Fred still won the battle with 69% of the votes. (listen here)

The fourth battle had Rich Shertenlieb vs. Damon Amendolara (listen here). Rich won his first round battle last year, but won by the lowest margin so he didn't move on. D.A. on the other hand won it all and many feel that this is the biggest matchup of the first round. After a full day of voting Rich racked up 79% of the votes knocking off last year's champ.

In the last battle of the first round we have Tony Massarotti battling it out with Marc Bertrand. Last year Tony made it all the way to the Finals, but fell to Damon Amendolara. Bertrand is a newcomer to the competition, can he knock off a guy who almost went all the way?
