OXFORD (CBS) – A community came together Monday night to remember a little girl and to pray for her brother.

On Saturday, Daryl Benway shot his seven-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son in Oxford, before turning the gun on himself.

Benway, who had recently separated from his wife, was found dead with his daughter Abigail in the bedroom of their Oxford home. Owen, Benway’s son, was found shot in the head and was taken to the hospital.

Hundreds gathered at a park just down the street from the family’s home. They held candles, sang and showed support for the family.
