If there had been two or three trained gun owners in theater nine at the Century 16 multiplex in Aurora, Colorado on the early morning of the “Dark Knight” shooting tragedy, fewer innocent moviegoers my have been killed or injured.
While I favor an assault weapon ban, I do believe that more handguns in the hands of law-abiding citizens could have saved lives that night.
I believe that if you are a standup citizen, you should look into becoming proficient in the use of a handgun.
It’s just not about home invasion or about being mugged anymore. It’s about the modern world where sniveling miscreants cannot distinguish between cartoon and reality. Ours is a dangerous new world where fame and even infamy are the currencies that matter.
In an effort to walk the walk and not just talk the talk, I’m getting pretty good with gun shootin’ iron. Check out the video to see how I am doing.
You have seen ’em on TV and in the movies, but have you ever shot a gun? A big scary .45 caliber Glock, an M4 rifle, or maybe a Mossberg 590 1A custom shotgun like the ones the military used in Iraq?
Recently, I joined two off duty police weapons experts, Alex and Joe, to find out what the serious firearms experience is really like.
Watch out. Stay low. I’m kinda is new at this. As you watch the video, decide if you would ever carry a weapon and please feel free to comment.
