Patriots Blog: Bill Belichick On Day 2

FOXBORO (CBS) - Coach Belichick spoke to the media Friday for the second day in a row and here are some of the highlights of his press conference.

Donte' Stallworth is back. Both he and coach feel he's a better fit this time around. Stallworth said when he was here with the Pats in 2007, he relied on his athletic ability to get him through and took the game for granted. Coach said he also has seen and growth in the wide receiver.

"He's matured a lot. He's been a very positive example and influence with what he does on a daily basis, but also some of the things he's done with other players on the team. I think he's shown a lot more leadership and he's a very professional athlete. He really takes his job seriously and acts in a very professional way. He's a great example for all of us on a daily basis. I'd say that's definitely grown since he was here in '07. He's been through a lot, but he handles himself very well, and very professionally."

Rookie Dont'a Hightower received high praise from Bill Belichick. The first year linebacker out of Alabama comes from a very strong football back round. Coach loves his game IQ.

"He's a smart kid. He definitely understands football and football concepts. That comes pretty quickly to him," Belichick said.
