On the negative side of things, Scott Zolak said the offensive line had a lot of problems on the first day of practice. But the big positive for Zo was Jabar Gaffney's Patriots reunion.
"The thing that surprised me the most -- get ready for it -- Jabar Gaffney," Zo said. "Jabar Gaffney on Day 1 was the home run. Everybody thought it was going to be Brandon Lloyd, maybe Donte Stallworth. Gronk got his catches yesterday, he did ... but Jabar Gaffney got vertical on the outside, on the inside, he hit seam routes, he hit in cuts, he hit curls. It seems like Brady picked up right where he left off with Gaffney."
