BOSTON (CBS) – A man was stabbed in Boston near the Brookline town line on Sunday.

Just after noon, the 49-year-old man was stabbed near Longwood Avenue and The Riverway.

The victim told police that the suspect, a white man in his 30′s with a medium build, demanded his iPhone.

When the victim refused to hand over his iPhone, he was stabbed with a small knife.

The victim was taken to Brigham & Women’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
