Patriots 2001 Super Bowl Ring Up For Auction

BOSTON (CBS) – A former New England Patriots staffer is selling his ring from the franchise's first Super Bowl win.

The diamond-studded Jostens championship ring from Super Bowl XXXVI, up for auction on Legendaryauctions.com, is expected to fetch as much as $30,000.

The ring, encrusted with 144 diamonds, belongs to Sean Coogan, who lists himself as the team's former ECommerce Manager on his LinkedIn page.

Every staff member received one of the rings, which are approximately 2.61 carats.
