BOSTON (CBS) – The New England Patriots have reportedly reached a deal with rookie linebacker Dont’a Hightower, according to ProFootballTalk.com.
Hightower, New England’s second first-round pick, was taken 25th overall out of Alabama. He was one of the captains on the Crimson Tide’s defense and was a consensus All-American last year, totaling a career-high 85 tackles to go with four sacks.
With Wednesday’s deal with Hightower, New England has now signed all seven of their 2012 draft picks.
Rookies are set to report to Patriots training camp on Thursday.
