Tanker truck overturned on Route 128 in Woburn.
WOBURN (CBS) – A tanker truck carrying flammable liquid has overturned on the southbound side of Route 128 in Woburn.
According to the State Police, the truck’s contents have spilled out onto the roadway near Exit 38.
State Police say the truck, which was carrying 8,000 gallons of gasoline, was involved in a crash with a car. The driver of the tanker truck was taken to Mass General Hospital. The driver’s condition is unknown.

State Police say a foam truck from Massport has responded to the scene to try and contain the spill.
The highway has been shut down in both directions and traffic is being diverted onto I-93. Businesses in the area, including a Hampton Inn hotel were evacuated.
