Gas Prices Surge In Massachusetts
BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts gas prices have shot up nine cents per gallon in the past week, the second consecutive week of higher prices.
AAA Southern New England reports Monday that the average price of a gallon of self-serve, regular jumped to $3.47.
The current price is eight cents above the national average but still 24 cents per gallon than at the same time a year ago.
AAA found self-serve, regular selling for as low as $3.35 per gallon and as high as $.3.69.
