BOSTON (CBS) – Boston’s biggest road race saw 12,000 runners and walkers hit the pavement Thursday evening.
The 29th annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge kicked off from Boston Common Thursday evening.
The individual winners for the 3.5 mile road race were Tim Ritchie of Boston College in the men’s division with a winning time of 17:24 and Kyle MacQueen of Wellington Management Group in the women’s division with a time of 19:38.
The race also raises money for local charities.
For each entry, JPMorgan Chase Foundation donates money to Emerald Necklace Conservancy and Horizons for Homeless Children.
